About Dr. Misch
Dr. Caroline Vollberg Misch graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2020 with a doctorate degree in optometry. During her tenure there, she became fascinated specifically in treating patients with various ocular disease and decided to pursue a residency after graduation. In 2021, Caroline completed a local one-year residency at SouthEast Eye Specialists focused on the management and treatment of ocular medical conditions like glaucoma, corneal diseases, and diabetic eye exams. Since then, Dr. Misch has been in practice treating a variety of ocular medical conditions and performing comprehensive eye exams, as well as prescribing contacts and glasses. She firmly believes in practicing to the fullest scope possible in order to provide the best care to her patients.
Dr. Misch is also an active member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians as well as the American Optometric Association and regularly attends conferences. She has had opportunities to provide eye care through mission work, which is where she found a passion in helping others in need. When she’s not at work, Caroline’s free time is spent with her husband, Jordan, and their two dogs, Winston and Gus.
